Horses, Depression, Writing Courses, Winning Contests, and Song Writing

Do you really need a course or retreat to learn how to write? I think you could just let your mind flow and let others critique you on forums and blogs.

   Tweedle Dee says: Can creative writing help depressed doctors? What about other people feeling depressed. I don't think this will answer the second question but it is a good question!

   Tweedle Dum says: I guess it must just be me, but I was not enthused about reading this article. First of all, I think the main issue for doctors' writing skills should be that they address whether someone can actually READ what they write. Do they do everything bad on purpose when it comes to writing?

   Tweedle Dee says: Why are so many websites about writing published with a font size so small it is uncomfortable to read?

   Tweedle Dum says: It just amazes me that people actually make money on writing courses. You either have the ability to make stuff up (or write interestingly about something true) or you don't. I don't believe it is a learned art.

   Of course if your font size is too small... nobody will read your blog and you'll never make any money!

   Tweedle Dum says: Another story about documentation. It seems to me that the best way for an artist to create music would be to sit down with their instrument and let it come out naturally. The gifted artists will let their musical ability speak from within. Why waste all that time writing down stupid notes?

   Tweedle Dee says: I guess without javascript enabled you can't read this whole article as it kind stops at an advertisement... anyway the tips are:

   • Emotionally engage your reader
   • Write with originality
   • Imbue your first paragraph with power [A lot of websites need to take a clue here!!!]
   • Retain a sense of form
   • Avoid using clichés

   Tweedle Dum says: You judge one by reading what they wrote and seeing who inspires you. Writing competitions are cool, but the science behind judging one shouldn't be pegged as being hard.

Various spheres of people's life consume a lot of time, thus why should we waste free time for good essay creating? It will be greater to use some experienced essay writing service to purchase the sample essay from, I think so.
